Health and Social Care
This apprenticeship focuses on helping you to enhance three main elements in your chosen area – knowledge, skills and behaviours. The course is delivered by a dedicated Talent Coach and a Functional Skills Tutor (if needed). You will learn alongside your Coach through a blended learning approach which can include face-to-face, webinars, Skype, online learning and telephone interactions.
You will complete your apprenticeship with an end-point assessment through a situational judgement test and a professional discussion. All end-point assessments will be delivered by an approved assessment organisation.
Knowledge – The job you have to do, your main tasks and responsibilities; the importance of having the right values and behaviours; the importance of communication; how to support individuals to remain safe from harm (safeguarding).
Skills – Undertake the main tasks and responsibilities according to your job role; treat people with respect and dignity and honour their human rights; communicate clearly and responsibly.
Behaviours – The 6 C’s; Care, compassion, courage, communication, competence, commitment.
